Originally from Nepal, I always wanted to be a writer. I started writing from a very early age. Was touched and inspired by the story of the great Nepalese poets, ‘Bhanu Bhakta Acharya’ and ‘Laxmi Prasad Devkota’ and it was one of the first reasons why I wanted to be a writer.
Growing up, I got heavily inspired by the likes of ‘Stephen King’ (misery being the favourite), ‘J.R.R Tolkien’s’ Middle Earth Universe, and ‘Patrick Roth fuss’s ‘The Name of the Wind’ and would also like to credit them for my obsession over fantasy/horror but my love for writing the scripts is all credit to the greatest writer/director of all time Mr. Quentin Tarantino. His writing, reliance on the character, their natural dialogue ignited the writer inside me.
Writing small poems was a hobby and slowly the hobby turned into a passion and now I am trying to turn that passion into a profession. I will always be grateful to my friends who have been supporting me and always believed that I am not a bad writer.
The dream that I always saw, I am hoping this could be the first step towards that dream. You can read my Writing snippets here and give me honest feedback which will help me grow mature as a writer as Ernest Hemingway said, ‘I aim to put down on paper what I see and what I feel in the best and simplest way.’
